Your safety is our priority
⚠️ Your safety is our priority.
You are standing at a pipeline marker post for a high-pressure cross-country pipeline.
This pipeline is maintained by BPA on behalf of EET.
If you are planning to carry out any work within 50 metres of this marker post, you must first seek approval from BPA. This is essential to prevent damage to the pipeline and to protect you, your team, and the environment.
What you need to do:
DO NOT UNDERTAKE ANY DIGGING, EXCAVATION, FENCING, DITCHING, MOLE PLOUGHING OR LAND DRAINAGE WITHIN 50M OF THE PIPELINE WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORISATION FROM BPA.
Linewatch, a joint initiative of the UK’s leading high pressure oil and gas pipeline operators, has developed an information sheet about safe digging and high pressure fuel pipelines.
UKOPA (United Kingdom Onshore Pipeline Operators’ Association) have a series of good practice guides available, please see below to view and download.
IMPORTANT – If you have any questions or concerns relating to the pipeline call us first.
